Chain Blocks::
Chain Blocks are self sustaining lifting gear which provide an easy means of lifting or lowering a load with an acceptable operative effort
They are designed for lifting vertically where the weight load is below the hook, but may also be used in an eviroment with a girder trolley to move suspended loads along runways.
Chain blocks are easy to install and so suit temporary applications. As they are operated by a hand chain they can be high above the operator or the operator can be on a different level to the load being moved. This item of lifting equipment is popular for maintenance purposes and is ideal for tackling lifting applications where there is no power. Larger units with a large swl may require more than one operator.
