Lawn Maintenance::
Traditionally in Nottinghamshire, depending on the climate and weather conditions most homeowners around spring time contemplate tidying up the garden and looking after their lawns.
After winter and around late February/March time, lawned areas are normally ready for the first cut of the season and need a minimal amount of maintenance to prepare the lawn for summer use.
An ideal machine to use to tidy up the flower borders and bedding areas is a petrol powered brushcutter - using a light and compact engine these allow fast cutting and removal of grass and compliment the use of a lawnmower.
A lawnmower should be used at this time with the blade set at it's highest setting to allow the lawn to be conditioned.
After several cuts the blade can be gradually lowered to achieve the finish and appearance required of the lawn.
Several different types of lawnmowers can be used depending on the level and type of lawn in each garden.
For reliable long term service and a quality result there are several leading brands og lawnmowing and gardening equipment available in the UK.
